NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Lockhart Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 28, 2011, at 7:00 P.M. in the Glosserman Room at City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public comments regarding a proposed
ordinance amending Chapter 64 “Zoning”, of the Lockhart Code of Ordinances, adding a new Section 64-203 “Industrial Exterior Design Standards”.
The City of Lockhart City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 3, 2011, at 7:30 PM in the Glosserman Room at City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to consider this zoning text amendment, public comments, and the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
All interested persons wishing to state their support or opposition may do so at either of these public hearings; or they may submit a written statement to the City Planner or his designee for presentation to the Planning and Zoning Commission and/or City Council before the time the public hearing begins. The City of Lockhart Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 28, 2011, at 7:00 P.M. in the Glosserman Room at City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public comments regarding a proposed ordinance amending Chapter 64 “Zoning”, of the Lockhart Code of Ordinances; (1) revising Section 64-2 to add a definition for Adult Gaming Establishment; (2) revising Section 64-196(h) “Commercial Central Business District”, Section 64-196(i) “Commercial Medium Business District”, and Section 64-196(j) “Commercial Heavy District”, to allow Adult Gaming Establishments as either a use permitted by-right or as a specific use; (3) adding a new Section 64-204 “Adult Gaming Establishments” containing standards and licensing requirements; and, (4), adding a new Section 64-205 “Penalty for Violation” describing the penalty for violations of any provision of Chapter 64 “Zoning”.
