Letters – Reader thanks police for protection

To the Editor:

My family and I were traveling out of town on Thursday when we suffered a tire blowout. We were on Hwy 130 in Mustang Ridge above Evelyn Road.

It was scary and dangerous and we were in a very precarious position with traffic whizzing by.

We contacted Mustang Ridge Police Dept. and Officer Sanchez responded immediately. He was there protecting us with his patrol car and lights and remained on-site until a wrecker arrived to move the car.

My thanks go out to the brave people of Mustang Ridge Police Department for their swift attention.
