Letters – Softball coach thanks fans

Dear Editor:
If you were not at the softball field Friday night you missed an amazing game. The seventh-ranked Lady Lions faced off against the third-ranked, undefeated Canyon Cougarettes. The game was full of intensity and excitement as the Lady Lions were victorious with a seventh inning nail-biting 6-5 win.
On behalf of the Lockhart Softball Coaching Staff and

players I would like to THANK all the fans who came out to “Pack the Park” and support the girls in their effort to spoil Canyon”s undefeated season and continue the quest of a play-off spot. Never have I seen so many people at a home softball game.
The crowd was so spirited as they cheered their hometown girls on to victory! The girls were extremely fired up for the game and the crowd just made the atmosphere unbelievable.
