LJHS 7th Grade boys cross country 2nd at District

Lockhart Junior High’s 7th Grade boys’ cross country team placed second at the District Meet.
Top finishers for the 7th Grade Lions were Rafael Urbina (2nd place), Daniel Martinez (4th), and Javier Medina (5th).
The 8th Grade boys finished third overall at District. Irving Ferretiz finished second individually, too.
The 7th Grade girls’ team finished third, while Aila Villanueva-Perez was fifth individually.
The 8th Grade girls were led by fifth-place Aliya Parra.
