Maggie Eleanor Williams
Maggie Eleanor Colwell Williams, 84, of McMahan, passed away on July 26, 2013, after a 12-year struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born Dec. 19, 1928, to Arthur B. and Alma Davis Colwell. Eleanor grew up in Lockhart, Texas, and graduated from Lockhart High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, I. M. “Buddy?
?? Williams, Jr., sister, Liz Colwell Williams, and brother Bruce Colwell.
She is survived by brothers Joe and James Henry Colwell; daughters, Judy Williams Rouse and Cindy Williams Price; sons-in-law, Bob Rouse and Bob Price; grandchildren, Scott Rouse, Megan Price Sato and Will Price; and great-grandchildren, Evelyn Sato and Christopher Rouse.
The family planned to host a viewing from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Friday Aug. 9, with graveside services to follow at the Jeffrey Cemetery, in McMahan.
