Martin Alfaro, Sr.

Martin Alfaro, Sr., was born on July 29, 1922, in Lockhart, Texas, to Bartolo Alfaro and Juana Rodriguez.

Mr. Alfaro passed away on Aug. 13, 2010.

He is survived by his wife, Nicolasa Alfaro; daughters: Dolores Peralez, of Lockhart, Gregoria Cortez, of San Antonio, and Janie Martinez and Josie Alfaro, both of Lockhart. He is also survived by his sons, Martin A

lfaro, Jr., and Bartolo Alfaro, both of Lockhart; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Prayer services were held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, at Faith/Fe Presbyterian Church. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Aug 16, also at Faith/Fe Presbyterian Church. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
