Michael Joseph Potter

Michael Joseph Potter, 61, passed away on Dec. 17, 2007 in Gonzales, Texas. Mike was born on Jan. 1, 1946, to Schealor Potter and Estelle King. He married Janie Loretta Garner on May 3, 1974 in Luling. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
His parents and two grandchildren, Jarrett and Jesse Landtroop preceded him in death.

ived by his wife, Loretta Potter of Luling; daughters Daphne Landtroop and husband, Jeff, of Florence, Ala., and Vanessa Schuelke and husband, Mark, of Lockhart; son Jeffrey Potter and wife, Christina, of Luling; grandchildren Aaron and Brittany Potter of Luling, Alana Landtroop of Florence, Ala., and Raven and Aidan Schuelke of Lockhart; brothers Roger Potter and Terry Potter of Foley, Ala., and many other family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Dec. 21, 2007 at 2 p.m. at O”Bannon Funeral Home in Luling, with Rev. Allen Davis officiating. Interment followed at Luling City Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Kenny Garner, Keith Garner, Nick Richter IV, Simon Casares, Shawn Drake and Jake Palacios. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Barry Black and Billy Garner.
