Mr. Bernice Barnett

Mr. Bernice Barnett, 92, of Lockhart died Oct. 17, 2005 in Lockhart.
Mr. Barnett was born Feb. 27, 1913 in McMahan to Tilmon and Sedelia French Barnett. Mr. Barnett is survived by his children, Veola Wortham of Pittsburg, Calif., Maxine Bloodworth of Detroit, Mich., LaMorris Barnett of Homewood, Ill., Glen Barnett of Lockhart and Mary Elizabeth Haywood of Garland, Texa

s; brothers, Ervin Barnett of Waco, and Willie Barnett of San Antonio; sister, Ruth Ella Miller of Lockhart; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 22, at the Grant A.M.E. Worship Center in Austin with Rev. Dr. Raymond Bryant officiating. Interment followed in the Fleming Cemetery in McMahan.
Serving as pallbearers were, Norman Lee Barnett, Tilmon Barnett, III, Michael King, Theodore Miller, Tommie Miller and W. A. Miller. Honorary pallbearers named were, Glen Barnett, Kervin Barnett, LaMorris Barnett and Robert Edison.
