Mrs. Catarina Quiroga Gonzales

Mrs. Catarina Quiroga Gonzales, 96, of Lockhart, passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2007. She was born on Feb. 13, 1911.
Mrs. Gonzales is survived by her daughters, Mary Martinez (Florentino), of Lockhart, and Juanita Mendoza (Celedonio), of Buda; sons, Manuel Gonzales (Angelita), and George Gonzales, Jr. (Carol), all of Lockhart, and Bibiano Gonzales (Maria), of Luling; sis

ters, Maria De La Luz Riojas, of Ohio, Mary Bernarda Sanchez, Olivia Cortinas and Juanita Vega; brothers, Espiridio Quiroga and Leandro Quiroga, all of San Antonio, Texas; 39 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the rosary was at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 at the DeLeon Funeral Home. Funeral mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26 at St. Mary”s Catholic Church. Burial followed in St. Mary”s Cemetery.
