Ollie Kieke

Ollie “Tiny” Kieke, 96, of Lockhart, passed away on Oct. 24, 2012. Ollie was born on July 29, 1916 to Jack and Levy Morris Wainscott in Caldwell County.

She married Herman Kieke on Sept. 27, 1941.

After marrying she moved to Austin, where she worked as a bookkeeper. In her spare time she liked to read, play games with her friends, travel and dance.

She was preceded

in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Winnie Bock.

She is survived by cousins: Margie Bozarth, Dud Morris, Dorothy Morris, Dora Ellen Ruggles, Tootsie Trantham, Edward Morris and Maxine Alfei as well as other family and friends.

Services were held on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home, with burial immediately following at Jeffery Cemetery in McMahan, Texas.

Pallbearers were: Mickey Dodd, Gene Richardson, Bobby Hicks, Joe Morris, Ryan Hicks and Pat Richardson. Honorary pallbearers were John Kieke, Wayne Kieke and Nolan Crow.
