Renè Annette Mayers

Renè Annette Mayers, 57, of Lockhart, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2009 with her sister, Linda; nieces, Pamela and Kristen; daughter, Amanda; and grandson, Travis, by her side.

Renè was born to Merril and Dorthy Berg on March 5, 1952 in Biloxi, Miss. She worked for David MacDonald at Heat Wave, Inc., a custom truck and car show, for seven years prior to her pa

ssing.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorthy, and sister, Pamela.
Renè is survived by her husband, William Rooksberry; father, Merril Berg; one sister, Linda; and four children: Pamela, Dustin, Brandi and Amanda. She also leaves to cherish her memory six grandchildren: Travis, Macalla, Kristoffer, Brianna, Caleb and Michael, and a grandchild expected in December. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren: Ricky, Alexis, Conner, Kenny, Kayla and Noah.

A private family viewing took place at All Faiths Funeral Services in Austin at 2 p.m. on July 13, 2009, before the beginning of cremation services.

A public memorial for family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2009, at the American Legion – H.T. Raney Post in Lockhart, at 1501 N. Colorado.
