Three snagged in Thursday drug raid

An early morning drug raid on Thursday, Nov. 1, yielded three arrests in the Lockhart Police Department”s ongoing effort to reduce drug traffic in Lockhart.
According to LPD spokesman Capt. John Roescher, a search warrant executed in the pre-dawn hours of Nov. 1 at 903B E. Live Oak St. ended in three arrests.

irst suspect, a 32-year-old man, was arrested for Delivery of Controlled Substance (less than one gram), Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. In addition, Roescher said, the suspect was wanted on a warrant from the Austin Police Department for Assault – Bodily Injury (Family Violence).
A 29-year-old female was also arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance (less than one gram). A third individual, a 31-year-old female, was arrested on an active warrant for a Motion to Revoke Probation on a prior charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Police seized small amounts of marijuana and cocaine at the scene. All three suspects were transported to the Caldwell County Jail.
Roescher said the warrant was executed by “forced entry,” and that officers serving the warrant had to “beat down” the metal door to the residence to gain entry.
Three other adults and seven children were in the home at the time of the warrant service.
