Willie Lee “Uncle Bill” Duckery
Mr. Willie Lee “Uncle Bill” Duckery, 55, of Lockhart died Jan. 25 in Austin. Mr. Duckery was born Sept. 19, 1949 in Monroe, La., to Joe and Leona Howard Duckery. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29 at First Baptist Church with Pastor Edward Fleming officiating. Interment followed in the Lockhart City Cemetery. others, Herbert Nelson Steveson and Charles Howard Mr. Duckery is survived by three sisters, Nettie Oliver and Ruby Perkins both of Monroe, La. and Loretha Taylor of Lockhart. A host of nieces and nephews also survive. Serving as pallbearers were, Ronald Kennedy, Edward Taylor, Jr., Carey Manning, Terry Taylor, Joseph Taylor and Virgil Taylor.
