Gordon New

Gordon Kenneth New, 82, passed away on Oct. 5, 2012. He was born on Jan. 4, 1930, to William and Georgia New in Gonzales, Texas. In addition to his parents, one brother and three sisters preceded him in death.

Gordon was a graduate of Lockhart High School and Southwest Texas State University. He served in the United States Air Force and later became a pharmaceutical chemist. Gordon enjoyed many hobbies, but he will be remembered most as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and dear friend.

Gordon is survived by his beloved wife, Argentina; daughter, Kristina New; sons, Kenneth New and wife, Ginger, Bradley New and wife, Lisa Jane, and Gregory New and wife, Allison; stepsons, Bill Casimir and wife, Gloria, and Ricky Casimir; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.

Respecting Gordon’s wishes, his life will be celebrated at a private gathering.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center in Houston, Texas.
