Cynthia Duran

Cynthia Eliza Duran, of Dale, passed away on July 29, 2013, at the age of 92. She was born on March 7, 1921, in McMahan, Texas, to George Riley and Myrtle (Reed) McGee.

She was a member of MidTown Church of Christ in Victoria, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leslie Duran and her parents. She is survived by one son, Chuck Duran and wi

fe, Gale, of Corinth, Texas; two daughters, Sandra Jetton and husband, Louie, of McMahan, and Doris Begnaud and husband, Ernie, of Houston, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Family planned to receive friends at McCurdy Funeral Home, from 5 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart, with Kenneth Sneed officiating. Interment to follow at Bateman Cemetery in Bastrop County.
