Charles Young

Charles Young, 84, of Lockhart, passed away on Oct. 27, 2015. He was born on Sept. 29, 1931 in Dilley, Texas to Felix Robert and Mabel Maude Young.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Alva Katherine Yarchuska and Mabel Jean Nixon; two brothers, Robert Earl Young and Martin Ray Young and his brother-in-law, Bob Cummings.

He is survived by his wife of 55 y

ears, Patsy Lanell Young; son, Bryan Young and wife, Linda, of Luling; daughter, Tamara Sue Embrey and husband, Dale, of Brownwood; one brother, Glenn Morris “Pete” Young of Uvalde; two sisters, Shirley Nell Cummings, of Seguin, and Nina Joan Willis and husband, Gene, of the Dallas area; and four grandchildren: Ashley Niemann and husband, Preston, Sam Young, Brittany Young, and Kesley Young.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on, Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015m, at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart.
