Gerald T. Pearson

Gerald T. Pearson, 78, formerly of the Lockhart area, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, in Kenedy, Texas. He was born on Sept. 9, 1928, in Lytton Springs, Texas, to John Robert and Ethel Lee (Vann) Pearson.
Gerald was raised in the Taylorsville area. He had worked as a heavy equipment operator, and he also worked on a number of ranches. He was a Baptist.

was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel Pearson; his brother, Robert L. Pearson; four sisters, Vera Pearson, Ruth Moore, Jeanette DeViney and Jessma McKean.
He is survived by his sons, Gerald Wayne Pearson and Charles Pearson; his daughters, Betty Ann, Martha Lynn, Carol Jean and Mary Lou; his sister, Elaine Gallup and her husband Lloyd of Boerne; his sister-in-law, Thelma Pearson of Lockhart, and his brother-in-law, Calvin McKean.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, in the McCurdy Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jeff Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Jeffrey Cemetery in McMahan.
