Betty Jean Kirksey

Betty Jean Kirksey, 76, of Austin passed away peacefully on March 16, 2008.
She was born on May 27, 1931 to Bruce and Willie Mae Pittman Voges in Lockhart, Texas. She was a retired finance officer with an aviation firm. Betty was an active member of the Church of Christ in San Marcos.
She is survived by her husband, Vance Kirksey of Austin, and daughter, Valerie

A visitation was held at the Eeds Funeral Home Chapel from 1- 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 19 with Evangelist George Slover officiating. Serving as the pallbearers were: Steve Good, Edward Good, Ken Bonin, Scott Boggs, Homer Guerrero, and Acie Dozier. Interment followed at the Lockhart City Cemetery.
