Where did you graduate and with what degree(s)? The University of Texas at Austin with a BA in History.

Favorite thing(s) about teaching at Lockhart ISD: My favorite thing about teaching is getting to teach History and getting to help educate the students of Lockhart to become leaders for the future. We have many great kids in Lockhart, Texas and I am blessed to have been their teacher for the past 16 years.

How would your friends describe you? I am loyal to my friends.

What values are most important to you? Integrity, Family, and Education are the values that are most important to me.

Talents: I enjoy woodworking and restoration of furniture made from real wood.

Favorite books: My favorite books are History books.

Favorite music: I enjoy all types of music now, but grew up on Rock and Roll and Country music.

Hobbies:  I enjoy fishing and hunting when I can. I enjoy reading, gardening, and baking also.

What brings you hope? My faith, family, friends, and students give me hope for the future.

Family: I have a beautiful wife of 26 Years, a son in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University, and a Golden Retriever.
