Wayne Davidson

Wayne Davidson, 65, passed away on Oct. 18, 2009, in Austin, Texas with his wife, Carolyn, and family at his side. Wayne, an only child, was born Jan. 5, 1944, to Katherine Jolley Davidson in Luling.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother.

He worked most of his life as a self-employed contractor. Wayne is survived by his wife, Carolyn Frizell Davidson; son

, Kenneth Davidson and wife, Susan, of Cedar Park; daughters, Debbie Davidson and Amy Davidson, both of Lockhart; grandchildren, Katie Schiefelbein and Pipper Davidson. Extended family includes Jill Guenther and her husband, Greg, and their children Anthony and Katelynn, and Jennifer Riechers and her husband, Robin, and their children Jacob and Jordan.

A visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Eeds Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at Eeds Funeral Home with Chaplain Merlin Starr officiating. Burial followed at the family plot in Lockhart City Cemetery. Serving as the pallbearers were: Darrell Hess, James Sanchez, Louie Berry, Greg Guenther, Anthony Grant and Frank Wise.
