Deloy N. Strawn

Deloy Norris “Skeet” Strawn, 84, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 in Clear Lake, Texas. He was born on May 25, 1925 to James Lawrence and Lillie Mae (Roye) Strawn in Lytton Springs, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Strawn.

Skeet is survived by his children: James Michael Strawn, of Alvin, Texas, Barbara Deeds, of Alvin, Texas, and Virginia

Williams and husband, Mark, of Webster, Texas; and brothers: Roye Strawn and wife, Margaret, of Spicewood, Texas, and Bill Joe Strawn and wife, Louise, of Canyon Lake, Texas. He was also blessed to have in his life eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Family received friends on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, from 6 – 8 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart. Funeral Services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at McCurdy Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Strawn officiating. Interment followed at the Lytton Springs Cemetery in Lytton Springs.
