Among the National Assisted Living Week celebrations, Lost Pines Toyota presented Golden Age Home with keys to a used Toyota Sienna. This presentation was the culmination of months of working together.

Carlos Liriano and The Lost Pines Toyota Family recently partnered with Golden Age Home Assisted Living in Lockhart to support their transportation needs. A $6,000 donation was made, by Lost Pines Toyota, to aid in the purchase of a van that will offer transport to medical appointments.

Golden Age Home has been a support for senior adults in Lockhart since 1960. Golden Age Home continues to look for new ways to enrich the lives of senior adults. The purchase of this van will make transportation easier and more convenient to and from medical appointments, reducing the stress on both the resident and their family members.

Liriano, Dealer Principal of Lost Pines Toyota, found Golden Age Home’s mission to align with his family’s unwavering dedication to community service, which underscores their commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

“We are very grateful to Lost Pines Toyota for investing in our home and mission,” said Nicole Burnett, Executive Director of Golden Age Home. “It is partnerships like these that make long-lasting impacts for Golden Age Home residents here today and for those who will make this their home in the future.”

Liriano and his family are deeply engaged in uplifting their community, actively leading or participating in various initiatives. Their community-centric approach emphasizes support for children, women’s health, and elderly care. Liriano is a staunch supporter of multiple chambers and county festivals and personally drives education and career advancement initiatives in his vibrant community.

The Liriano family’s impactful endeavors include:

* The Big Pink Bus: Providing free and low-cost mammograms on a monthly basis.

* Smithville Community Clinic Dental Bus: Offering dental visits to low-income rural areas.

* Toyota Way Forward: Promoting awareness, treatment, and prevention of traumatic brain injuries (TBI) in pediatric patients.

* Workforce Commission Training Program: Supporting local workforce development through training initiatives.
