Junior High Lions win 3, tie 1 vs. Miller
Lockhart Junior High claimed three victories and a tie in four games last week against San Marcos’ Miller Middle School.
The 8th Grade Lions welcomes Miller to Lockhart, winning the A (Maroon) game, 42-6, and the B (White) game, 19-6.
In the A game, Demonte Anthony and Miguel Sustaya were the top performers for LJH, which improved to 2-0 on the season.
In the 8th Grade B game, Patrick Morrison was credited with a strong game as the Lions also moved to 2-0.
The 7th Grade Lions played at San Marcos, with the A team winning, 27-21 and the B team battling to a 13-13 tie.
Quintin Reese and Jake White were top players for 7th Grade A team, which is 2-0 on the season.
Josh Rodriguez and Kevin Castro were top players for the 7th Grade B team, which is now 0-1-1 on the season.
Lockhart Junior High played Gonzales on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
