Roaring Lion Band ready to entertain
A total of 28 bands competed at the UIL Area competition at Pflugerville’s Pfield last weekend. Only the top 5 advanced to state competition.
Lockhart failed to advance, meaning its last on-field event for the fall will be Friday night as the Lions host Austin Anderson at Lions Stadium beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Lockhart Fine Arts Director James Crowley said while the band did not advance, “We are endlessly proud of them.”
