Gangster Style, Big Smiles: Fur Ball scores for shelter

   The Fur Ball proved to be a standout evening this year, bringing in more than $60,000 for the local shelter and earning rave reviews from attendees who called it the best one yet.

   The popular fundraiser drew a full house, with guests going all in on the “Vintage Gangster Glam” theme. From sharp suits to dazzling dresses, the crowd looked the part and added to the night’s lively, throwback atmosphere.

   But the fashion wasn’t the only highlight. In a fun twist, actors from the Gaslight Baker Theatre surprised the crowd with a staged “heist” during the live auction. The unexpected performance brought plenty of laughs and kept guests entertained as bidding continued.

   Between the strong turnout, enthusiastic crowd, and creative touches throughout the night, organizers say this year’s Fur Ball set a new bar for the annual event.
