We Thrive Lockhart appreciates help from volunteers

Recently We Thrive Lockhart was reminded why they love this community.

Their ‘Grow & Share Garden Boxes Project’ officially launched, and what a blessing it was.

They had 16 incredible community volunteers show up ready to work.

When people come together with willing hearts, amazing things happen.

A heartfelt thank you to Lions Legacy Foundation and Curtis Hawkins for donating supplies that will help complete this project and support future community endeavors.

Thank you to Rebecca Allen with Immune Booster for keeping the volunteers refreshed with ice, fresh fruit, and tools.

Thank you also to Carter’s Property, Sgt. Fred Carter, and Johnny Winn—the groups talented carpenter and handyman—for providing the space, ensuring everyone’s safety, and helping assemble the garden boxes.

A special shout-out to Pat Stroka, Mr. Faithful himself. No matter the need, he always shows up for this community with a servant’s heart.

Also thanks to Hatti Carter, for her unwavering faithfulness and dedication to serving the community by any means necessary.

And to the children and grandchildren—thank you for always showing up for one another and for this community. That’s who we are. That’s what we do.

This project is about more than building garden boxes. It’s about planting hope, growing together, and proving that when a community stands united, there’s nothing can’t be accomplished.

Where We Thrive Inc. — Rebuilding. Restoring. Thriving. One project at a time.
