Ice Cream with a Cop slated for August 5th

    The Lockhart Police Department is teaming up with Holly Cow Ice Cream Truck to bring area residents a chance to enjoy a fun family filled event on August 5, 2026 at Lockhart City Park. 

    Lockhart Police officers will be hosting Ice Cream with a Cop from 1-2:30 pm kids ages 0-17 can stop by and get a free ice cream treat. They will also be able to see police vehicles, meet local officers and enjoy free ice cream treats until supplies run out. 

     There will also be free swimming at the City Pool starting at 1 pm.
