Patsy Jean Reed

Patsy Jean Reed, of Luling, passed away on Nov. 12, 2010, in Kyle, Texas. She was born on June 30, 1937, to Thomas Lee Chambers and Irene (Glenwood) Chambers, in Taft, Texas.

Patsy married Cleo Ritchard Reed on June 9, 1968, at the Central Baptist Church in Luling, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1995.

She is survived by her niece, Ronda Carste, of Troy, Texas; three nephews: Mark Chambers, of Kyle, Texas, Michael Chambers, of Wylie, Texas, and James Chambers, of San Antonio; and three brothers: Lee Chambers and Edgar Chambers, both of Luling, and Billy Ray Chambers, of Lockhart.

Funeral services were held at O’Bannon Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at 10 a.m. with Rev. A.W. McCrary, Sr., officiating. Burial followed at Jeffrey Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were: David Juarez, James Chambers, Randy Hastings, John Bell, Roger Peden and John Westbrook.
