I’m JEFFRY MICHELSON and I’ve lived in Lockhart since I was 10 years old. My grandparents, great-grandparents, parents, and large family were pivotal in the development of this city. My grandfather was mayor here from 1955 – 1964. I can truly say that Lockhart is in my soul.
My family taught me that community service is a way of life, and that pride in one’s community is a character trait worth keeping. I’m the proud husband to my wife, Shelly, and our view is that common sense should always prevail. As a Lockhart son, I’ll be honored to represent my favorite city in Texas as your Mayor, and to help grow our city responsibly while holding onto the small-town feel we love.
