Victoria D. Valdez

Mrs. Victoria D. Valdez, 84, of Lockhart, passed away, Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010. She was born on Aug. 13, 1926.

Mrs. Valdez is survived by her children and their spouses, Ramona Rhodes and husband, Don, Selma Ancira and husband, Jimmy, and, Hector Valdez and wife, Irma; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Recitation of the rosary was at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5,

2010, at DeLeon Funeral Home. Funeral mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were: Daniel Valdez, James Gutierrez, Robert Delgado, Jimmy Delgado, Joe Delgado and Fred Delgado.
