Laura Hemme

Laura Elizabeth Hemme, 89, passed away on Jan. 16, 2011. She was born in Mendoza, Texas, on Jan. 5, 1922, to John Henry Davidson and Mattie Gertrude Scott. She was an Avon representative for more than 45 years.

She is survived by two sons, David and Mary Hemme, of Fair Oaks, Texas, and Don and Patti Hemme, of Pleasanton, Texas; one daughter, Brenda and O.E. Davidson, of

Cameron, Texas; three brothers, John Henry and Peaches Davidson, Scott Davidson and Dee Davidson; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, from 5 – 8 p. m. at McCurdy Memorial Chapel. Services will be Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at 10 a.m. at McCurdy Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow to Bunton Cemetery.
