Ann L. Morris
Ann L. Morris, 87, went to be with her Lord on April 11. She fought a good fight before pneumonia took her.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Baker and husband, Frank, of Luling and Donna Richardson and husband, Gene, of Dripping Springs; a

Ann lived most of her life in the McNeil community as a rancher and housewife, and spent her last year at 1017 Bois d’ Arc Assisted Living in Lockhart.
She was active in her service to the Lord at the McNeil Baptist Church, teaching ladies classes and children in VBS. She was well known for the many great dishes she prepared for so many, and especially her chocolate pies and dewberry pies – favorites to her many nieces and nephews. She was a founder of the Quarterly Wolf Hunters Supper at Harwood many years ago and it is still going on.
She had been a member of the TOPS Club since 1975.
Ann saw a lot of children grow up in Luling during the years she worked at Winn’s Store. She had a lot of funny stories to tell about some of them. She loved to sing her Gospel songs in church and especially at the monthly Tilmon Jam Sessions. She will be missed.
