AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOCKHART, TEXAS, ASSIGNING THE NAME CESAR CHAVEZ PARKWAY TO THE SH 130 FRONTAGE ROADS WITHIN THE LOCKHART CITY LIMITS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING A REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND ESTABLISHING A
N EFFECTIVE DATE.
The complete ordinance may be viewed at the City Secretary”s Office, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to section 251.013 of the Texas Transportation Code, a Public Hearing will be held by the Caldwell County Commissioners Court to determine whether to rename certain county roads as follows:
• private road Silver Star Path to WAM Way
• Jolly Road to Jolley Road
Westbrook Drive to Meadow Trail Road
• old and new portions of Long Road where State Highway 130 splits the county road
• the unnamed road to the HT Wright Memorial Park just off U.S. Highway 183 to HT Wright Court
Said Public Hearing will be held 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 9, 2012, in the Caldwell County Commissioners Courtroom, located at 1403 Blackjack Street, Lockhart, Texas.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals addressed to the Mayor and City Council of the City of Lockhart will be received at the Lockhart City Hall, 308 West San Antonio, Lockhart, Texas 78644, until 11:00 A.M., April 10, 2012 for the Main Street and FM 20 12″ Sanitary Sewer Main Project, at which time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after closing time will be returned unopened.
The project consists of installing approximately 900 L.F. of 12″ and 8″ Sanitary Sewer Main and all necessary appurtenances.
Bidders shall submit with their bids a Cashier”s Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum total bid, payable to the City of Lockhart, Texas without recourse, or a Proposal Bond in the same amount from an approved Surety Company as a guarantee that Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds on the forms provided, within ten (10) days after the award of Contract. Bids without check or Proposal Bond will not be considered.
The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payments Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner.
Proposal forms, plans, and specifications may be obtained from TRC Engineers, Inc., 505 East Huntland Drive, Suite 250, Austin, Texas 78752, (512) 454-8716, upon receipt of payment of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars. Please make checks or money-orders, payable to TRC Engineers, Inc. PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
The City Council of the City of Lockhart reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date on which bids are received.
