Ysabel Prieto

Ysabel Martinez Prieto, 70, of Maxwell, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012.

Ysabel lived in Maxwell for 43 years, where he raised his family and enjoyed his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mary Frances Prieto, of Maxwell; uncle, Eusebio Prieto, of Kerman, Calif.;  son, Nobel Prieto, of Maxwell; son,  Esabel Prieto, Jr., and wife, Ingrid Prieto

, of New Braunfels; daughters, Rachel Prieto and Lucie Prieto, of Kyle, Cindy Sedillo and husband, Stephen Sedillo, of Kyle, and Ilda Miranda and husband, David Miranda, of Belton, Mo.; ten grandchildren: Mary Elizabeth, Sabrina, Megan, Stephanie, Stephen Louis, Caitlyn, Abigail, Sarah, Emiliano and Catherine; and one great-grandson, Ivan.

Ysabel was preceded in death by his parents, Rufugio and Eusebia Prieto.

Funeral services were held Aug. 4, 2012, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Martindale, Texas.    Burial followed in Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.

Pallbearers were Nobel Prieto, Esabel Prieto, Jr., Stephen Sedillo, David Miranda, Lupe Yvarra and Tony Ybarra. Honorary pallbearers were Stephen Louis Sedillo and Emiliano Prieto.
