Oneita Inez Dye Odom

Oneita Inez Dye Odom, 84, of Luling, formerly of Corpus Christi, passed away in Luling on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005. She was born on March 25, 1921 in Luling, Texas to Robin Dye and Gladys New Dye.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Albert Odom; daughter, Gloria Gayle Turner; grandson, Daron Turner; and sister, Doris Mathews.
She is survived

by her son-in-law, Glen Turner of Austin; sisters, Velda Gray and husband Joe of Luling and Joy Rutherford and husband Damon of Bay City; three grandchildren, David Turner and wife Lisa of Humble, Loraine Kirk of Omaha, Neb. and Sheldon Turner of Austin and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, Nov. 4 at McCurdy Funeral Home. Graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Clearfork Cemetery near Luling, Bob Hailey officiating.
