Craig Cavaness
Craig Cordell Cavaness was born June 25, 1967, and left us unexpectedly on Sept. 12, 2012, due to complications from a stroke.
Craig was living in Joplin Mo., working for APAC, an EGS Company, on the Corporate Workforce team at the time of his death. He was a graduate of Tom C. Clark High School, in San Antonio. Craig loved everyone and everyone loved Craig, especially his b
oys Adam and Zachary.
Craig was a very giving soul and proved this to us one last time by being an organ donor. His spirit will live on through the recipients” of his organs.
Craig was preceded in death by his grandparents, Baze and Grace Cavaness and Annie and Edward Helge.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Michelle; twin sons, Adam and Zachary; father, Clifton Cavaness and wife, Shirley; mother, Mildred Helge Cavaness, of Brady; brothers, Guy Krenz and wife, Pat, and Tom Krenz and wife, Lezlie; sisters, Tina Morales and husband, Pete, and Wendy Clemon and husband, Robert. He also leaves behind numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside services were planned at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at the Lockhart City Cemetery in Lockhart, with Kevin Andrews officiating.
In addition, a memorial service was held in Joplin, Missouri for his co-workers and friends there, with Brother Melvin Parker of Carthage officiating and music provided by Amy Parker.
