Terry Newell
Terry Leonard Newell, 58, passed away on Dec. 20, 2013, with his son and daughter at his side. He was born on Feb. 14, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas to Clarence Dennis Newell and Lillian (Uecker) Starr.
He is survived by his parents; his son, Grant Lubbers (Emily), of La Porte; his daughter, Terri Riemer (David), of Houston; two brothers, Kenneth Newell, of Red Rock, and Richard
Newell (Cheryl), of Houston; and two grandchildren, Conner Riemer and Emily “Leelee” Riemer.
Family planned to receive friends at McCurdy Funeral Home, from 6 – 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013. Funeral services were scheduled at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Grace Lutheran Church, with Pastor Bryan Dziadik-Willingham officiating. Interment followed at 4 p.m. at Forest Park East Cemetery in Houston.
