Samuel G. Jimenez

Samuel G. Jimenez, 84 of Lockhart, passed away on Feb. 20, 2014. He was born on Oct. 25, 1929 in Lockhart to Julio and Consuelo Jimenez.

Samuel served his country in the United States Air Force for 27 years. He and his family traveled with him throughout the world. He retired in 1982 to return to his beloved town of his childhood.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Erl

inda Jimenez; his parents; sister, Julia Jimenez; and his brother, Julio Jimenez, Jr.

He is survived by his two daughters, Dolly Kozlowski and Lisa Orozco, both of Lockhart; three sisters, Mrs. Dora Rodriguez of McAllen, Mrs. Bonita Olivares of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Connie Alvarado of Bloomington, Calif.; five grandchildren: Angela Sales and Monica Marques, of Lockhart, Greg Kozlowski, of Round Rock, Jennifer Powell of Las Vegas, and Kimberly Johnson, of San Marcos; eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

As per his wishes his funeral services will be private.
