Janet’s Christian faith shone on her face as she faithfully sang in the choir and attended church services as long as able, with husband Michael at her side.

Janet shared with Friendship Class members about her school days when she and fellow classmate Michael Hodges began to go together. Their friendship blossomed into love and they were married. They have both reached out to fellow worshippers and served the Lord well.

Janet provided testimony when her cancer was in remission, and persevered when facing terminal difficulties. We join her in blessing the Lord for His faithfulness forever.

Michael: Pastor Bob sent word of Janet’s homegoing. We have many fond memories of you and Janet. We came to Austin Bible church in 1982 so that was 32 years ago. I will be 80 this year, so we are getting up in years. Our love and prayers to you and the children at this time. Ralph and Dorothy

The best friend a person could ever have. I loved her dearly. She was the most compassionate, caring person I’ve met in a long time. She loved the kids. I loved her smile and her laugh. We had such good times in the choir together, me and her and JoBeth Broadhurst. Trouble in triplet. We miss her more than words can express. She left a big hole. But I know she is singing in Heaven and waiting for us to get there.
