On May 21, 2013, Annie Rinehart succumbed to her 15-year battle for life. As was her nature, she fought with courage and determination and faith in the Lord. She was 68.

Annie is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Terry. She is also survived by four sisters and two brothers: Gracie Harmon, of Smithville, Harold Galipp, of Giddings, Carolyn Wier, of Abilene, Frank

Galipp (Linda), of Lockhart, Jenny Escalante, of Austin and Nancy Metzler (Larry), of Lockhart; and sister-in-law, Roma Parsons (Johnny), of Pasadena. She is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ema Galipp; brother-in-law, Glen Harmon, Sr.; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Galipp.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 25 at 10 a.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home, located at 105 E. Pecan St., Lockhart, Texas. Interment followed at Lockhart City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Glen Harmon, Jr., Wayne Galipp, Jeff Wier, Scott Galipp, Chris Escalante, and Nick Metzler. Honorary pallbearers were also Tim Harmon, Jason Wier, Shannon Galipp and Brandon Galipp. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home, located at 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, Texas, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June
