Annie Ritchie

On Aug. 5, 2015, at the age of 77 our beloved wife and mother, closed her eyes on this life and opened them to the next.
Annie Bonita Joseph was born May 9, 1938, to Herman Lafayette and Willie “Ocia” Alexander Joseph in Lockhart, Texas. Annie married Kenneth M. Ritchie, on Feb. 14,1979 in San Antonio, Texas. They were married 36 years until death parted them.
Annie loved

helping those in need and also loved the outdoors. She combined these loves and became a realtor, helping families make their own dreams come true. Over the years she also found ways to help other by obtaining her insurance license and working in the funeral industry helping people pre-plan their funeral service.
Annie leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Kenneth M. Ritchie of Floresville; daughters, Laura Jo Dzienowski Smith, of Austin, and Frances Onita Dzienowski Meyer and her husband, Cecil Meyer, of Manor; and her stepsons, Mark and Paul Ritchie and their families.
Visitation was held on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, from 5 – 9 p.m. at Mission Park South. Services were held at Mission Park South, 1700 S.E. Military Dr., San Antonio, Texas,, on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. . Burial followed at Bunton Cemetery in Dale, Texas, at 6 p.m.
