Area men arrested during Mustang Ridge Bust

On Thursday, Aug. 21, a law enforcement task force comprised of officers from the U.S. Postal Service, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office and the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Special Crimes Unit executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Cross Meadow Court, in Mustang Ridge and seized 54.5 pounds of marijuana.
Two suspects, ages 17 and 20, were arrested at the sc

ene and charged with possession of marijuana. Bond for each suspect was set at $10,000.
“The seizure and the arrests culminated a month long investigation in the trafficking of marijuana and in Caldwell County,” said Sheriff Daniel C. Law. “We recently completed another trafficking investigation and were able to seize over 150 pounds of marijuana in the Dale area. The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office will continue their efforts in reducing marijuana and drug trafficking throughout the county by diligently investigating and arresting these criminals.”
