Beatrice T. Carlisle

Our beloved, Nanie, age 90, of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father, peacefully on Friday Jan. 23, 2009. She was born on Nov. 18, 1918.

She devoted her life to her family – as a loving mother, nurturing grandmother, and caring friend. She will be remembered for her compassion, adventurous spirit, and grace.

She is survived by her children: Dorothy Powell-

Traugott and husband, Travis, of Cedar Creek, Bonita Keeley and husband, Dave, of Montana, Shirley Burke, of Austin, Weldon Joel Carlisle, of Beaumont, and Jimmie D. Carlisle and wife, Georganna of Austin. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, which include Casey D. Carlisle and wife, Laura, of Lockhart, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Private memorial services were planned.
