Beverly Ann Fiscus
Beverly Ann Fiscus, 78, of San Marcos, passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015. She was born Dec. 7, 1936, in New Orleans, La., the daughter of Joseph W. and Celeste M. Engeron Kabel. She married the love of her life, Gerald Fiscus on Sept. 21, 1951, in Hancock, Miss.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandm
other, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in San Marcos.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years Gerald Fiscus, of San Marcos; seven daughters: Donna (Rodney) Rusher, of Mansfield, Ill., Jo Ann Button, of Lockhart, Theresa (Randy) Brown of Tolono, Ill., Mary (John) Fiscus, of Idaho, Cathy Fiscus, of Lockhart, Sheila (Nathan) Hale, of Austin, Tx and Angie (Isaac) Tusing, of Washington, Iowa; three sons: Brian (Sherry) Fiscus, of San Marcos, Mike (Paula) Fiscus, of Prairie Lea, and Chris (Angie) Fiscus, of Clarksville, Tenn.; 35 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian Fiscus; sister, Evelyn Red; and great grandson, Levi Alexander. Visitation was held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at O’Bannon Funeral Home in Luling with the Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated 2 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at St. John Catholic Church in Luling with Reverend Howard Goertz officiating. Interment followed to St. John Catholic Cemetery in Luling. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
