Bob Carter

Bob Carter of Lockhart, Texas, beloved and cherished husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008, in New Braunfels, Texas. He was born on March 17, 1932, in Spavinaw, Oklahoma, to Allen L. and Emma Frances (Sneed) Carter.
Bob was a drilling consultant in the oil and gas industry for 45 years. He loved his work and worked all over the United

States.
His parents; daughter, Jolee Mahoney; and sister, Ruth Louise Hassenplug preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Madeline C. Carter; daughter, Judy Alonso and husband, Richard of Lockhart; sister, Wanda Clemens of Holdenville, Okla.; and three precious grandchildren, Christiana, Madeline and Noah Alonso.
The family received friends at Pennington Funeral Home from 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2008. Funeral Services were conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, in the Pennington Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Leroy Pennington officiating. Interment followed at the San Marcos Cemetery.
