Bruno Ludwig Ewald

Bruno Ludwig Ewald, 84, of Niederwald, Texas passed away Nov. 25, 2007 in San Marcos, Texas. He was born on Sept. 19, 1923 in Lockhart, Texas to Eddie Ewald and Rosa Lena Ehrlich Ewald.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Ewald; three brothers; two sisters; and a son, Roy Max Ewald.
He is survived by his sons, Edwin Ewald, of Niederwald, Jimmy Ewald

and wife, Paulette, of Niederwald, and David Ewald and wife, Lisa, of Dale; daughters, Barbara Ewald, of Niederwald, Bonnie Ewald, of Luling, and Reynell Smith, of Niederwald; sisters, Ida Petrosky, of Lockhart, and Della Barker, of Georgetown; and brothers, Otto Ewald and wife Mary, of Gonzales, Alvin Ewald and wife Carolyn, of Austin, and Preston Ewald of Colorado.
Funeral services were scheduled on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007 at McCurdy Memorial Chapel with Pastor Barbara Beale officiating, with burial following at Lockhart City Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Tom Fowler, Chris Harlen, Alselmo Martinez, R. D. Miles, Bryan Wren and Butch Orr.
