Casey Crawford

Casey Randle Crawford, 11 of Corinth, Texas, died Wednesday July 23, 2014 at Cook Children’s Hospital in Ft. Worth. Casey was born June 17, 2003, in Austin, Texas, the son of Randle Ray Crawford and Dee Ann (Teague) Crawford. He was a student; he just had completed the fifth grade at Hawk Elementary and was going to Crownover Middle School. His family had lived in Leander, Ar

izona, Waco, Lampasas and the Denton area. Casey was a member of the First Primitive Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.

Survivors include his parents, Randy and Dee Ann Crawford, of Corinth; sister, Payton Crawford, of Corinth; paternal grandparents, Bruce and Linda Crawford, of Lampasas; maternal grandmother, Rebecca Dabbs (Tim) of Dale; maternal great-grandmother, Delores Wilkins (Larry), of Mustang Ridge; aunts, Tracy Linder, Angela Walenta (Robert), Misty Head, and Ashley Reza (John); and a number of other relatives

Casey was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Maxey Teague; paternal great grandparents, Lewis and Mearl Spivey; paternal great-grandmother, Pam Crawford; maternal great-grandfather, Wayne Combs; cousin, Hunter Wendel; and great-uncle, Glen Spivey.

Visitation for Casey Crawford was held on Sunday July 27, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral services were held on Monday July 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Burial will follow at Watson Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to First Primitive Baptist Church of Dallas, Florence Primitive Baptist Church, or Watson Cemetery.
