CCAC to host fundraiser April 1

Caldwell County Animal Coalition (CCAC), 501c3 animal welfare nonprofit  is having a $6 Lunch fundraiser hosted by Raquel and Tommy Barron on April Fool’s Day, April 1, at Johnny & Sons located at 400 Blackjack Street in Lockhart. Jam with us from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. to the tunes by Big As Texas Sounds and get your dogs and cats vaccinated by local rescue vet, Dr. Lynanne Mockler.

We cannot stress the importance of vaccines for dogs and cats, especially at this time. We have confirmed cases of deadly Distemper and Parvo in our area. We urge the public to take advantage of this clinic. These diseases are highly contagious, and both are now in the city and county. Both are deadly and preventable with a series of vaccines.

We encourage all to take advantage of the opportunity to protect their dogs and cats. The cost is $45 for the Distemper/Parvo vaccine, Rabies Vaccine, and registered microchip. If you live in Lockhart proper, we will also have lifetime City of Lockhart registration with tags for free. We do have availability for low-income families as well.

We encourage all to please submit the registration form at:
