Clara “Agnes” Merka

Clara “Agnes” Merka, age 62, of Austin, passed away on Monday, Aug. 8, 2005.
She was born on June 11, 1943 to Mary and Adalbert Schaefer in Luling, Texas. Agnes was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Ed Merka; mother, Mary Schaefer; sons, Edward Benjamin Merka, Jr. and Jennifer, David Merka and Michelle; daughter, Carolyn Merka; sist

ers, Mary Katherine Cannop and Betty Sue Hitchcock and Ed; and grandchildren, Michael Benjamin Proler, Christopher Daniel Merka Emily Beth Merka and Ashley Merka.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005 at Cook Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 N. IH 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville.
