Daniel Castillo, Sr.

Mr. Daniel Castillo, Sr. of Buda, Texas, a beloved father, husband, brother and grandfather, was called to his eternal rest to be with our Heavenly Father on Dec. 27 at the age of 51.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sabino Castillo, Sr., and Josefa Castillo, and his brother, Ramon Castillo.

ving wife of 27 years, Lucy Castillo, as well as his children, sons Joey Castillo and Daniel Castillo, Jr., and daughter Sandra Castillo, all of Buda.

He is also survived by brothers: Pete Castillo of Altus, Olka.; Sabino Castillo, Jr., of Kyle, Texas; Tony Castillo of Austin, Texas; Lupe Castillo of Lockhart, Texas; John Castillo, Rob Castillo and Michael Castillo, all of Kyle, Texas; sisters Janie Tristan of Manchaca, Texas, and Josefa Saldana of Washington; and four grandchildren, Tyler, Sabrina, Jason and Derek Castillo, all of Buda, Texas.

Recitation of the rosary was Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. at the Los Angeles Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday, Dec. 30 at 10 a.m. at Santa Cruz Catholic Church in Buda, Texas, with Msgr. Joseph Dean officiating. Burial will follow in the San Juan Cemetery in Reedville.

Mr. Castillo”s immediate family members will serve as pallbearers.
